In response to my blog today about the suspension of Detroit Lions president Tom Lewand, there were a lot of comments that suggested I was way off base.

It's been a long time since the Lions' starting quarterback was this clearly, this permanently defined on the first day of training camp.

Now that the No. 1 and No. 3 overall draft picks have inked their deals, it should be a very short time before Suh gets under contract with the Lions.
